Face Wash and Toners

Face Wash and Toners

Everyone's skin is different, but I know one thing for sure. You cannot have healthy, radiant skin without taking care of it. There are several parts to making sure that the skin is clean, healthy, and beautiful. As Diana talked about in the previous post, sunscreen is crucial for everyday use. Krystal mentioned a technique used to cleanse your face. I will mention the different products that can be used on a day to day basis to keep the skin nice, clean and fresh.

One of the easiest and most important steps to caring for your skin is cleansing it. Whether you're a boy or a girl and have acne prone skin, oily, dry, or even clear skin, washing your face is essential. There are many products that you can buy, but it is important to consider what type of products are safer for the skin. There are many face washes that have chemicals that can be harmful to the skin. As well as different toners that strip your face of all its nutrients. Which is why many companies have looked into producing healthy organic products that only benefit the skin. Some of these brands include First Aid Beauty, Simple, Origins, Lush, etc. These brands are pretty affordable and they do wonders to the skin.

Simple is a brand dedicated to making products for those who have sensitive skin. They use harmless ingredients in their everyday face washes, toners, and moisturizers that are great for every skin type. The best thing about these products is that they are reasonably priced!

My personal favorite brand that is worth spending a little extra money for is Lush Cosmetics. They are a vegan company that use all natural resources in their fresh handmade products. Their supply ranges from moisturizers to face washes to even makeup, but we will focus on products that cleanse the skin. A couple of my favorite face washes are Ocean Salt, Dark Angels, and Herbalism.  The names resemble their natural, beneficial ingredients. Ocean Salt, as the name explains, has ocean salt and lemon. These natural ingredients brighten the skin, while exfoliating gently. Dark Angels is a charcoal based cleanser that gets rid of blackheads as well as getting rid of excess oil. Herbalism has kaolin clay, rosemary, and chamomile that leave the skin feeling refreshed and healthy. Watch the videos to see how lush products come to life!
